Today’s Special|
Talking Heads Scramble|

wake up! wake up! wake up!
pinch me
I must be dreaming!

I’m trapped in a video
once in a lifetime
I hear myself saying

where is that large automobile
I look inside
this is not my beautiful house

after the party is gone
my god what have I done
wake up! wake up! wake up!

someone please pinch me
I must be dreaming
I want it the same as it ever was

wake up! wake up! wake up!
where’s my once in a lifetime
things never stay the same

Author: Cindi Silva Poetry

I'm an artist, poet, writer, activist and more. I like writing about the ordinary and transforming it to extraordinary, which I think it already is but you may have been to busy to notice. Sometimes I write about politics, love, relationships, and every day strife. If you like my blog, I invite you to follow me. Thanks for stopping by. Peace and great joy to you always! Cindi
